Shoes, Gloves, & Compression Set Info

If your child plays a woodwind or brass instrument they will need… shoes, gloves, a compression shirt, and compression shorts. We order all of this so the band can look all the same.

The price break down is:

Shoes                     $30.00
Gloves                    $5.00
Compression Set   $25.00

If you do not need shoes, the total is $30.00
If you do not need gloves, the total is $55.00 (Battery & Front Ensemble do NOT need)
If you do not need shoes or gloves, the total is $25.00

Total for all three items is $60.00.

Money for shoes and gloves are due Friday September 4th.
Money for compression shirts and shorts is Friday September 18th

Monday should be turned in to Dusty Williams ONLY. DO NOT TURN IN TO THE BLACK BOX.

Orlando Trip Chaperone Info

All adults (non-students) attending the Spring Orlando trip must follow the process listed below.  All adults must complete this process prior to September 15, 2015 in order to qualify for the spring trip.

*Chaperones (for overnight or out of state field trips)

Parent/Guardian Volunteer Chaperones wishing to attend overnight or out of state field trips must submit to a background check. The background check will be done through PENCIL (www.pencilfoundation.org). Chaperones must receive favorable results prior to departure.

Uniform Fittings

Its Uniform Fitting Time!!!!!

I will be doing fittings on the dates listed below. YOU MUST HAVE AN APPOINTMENT TO GET FITTED. Please, remember to call or email for an appointment. if you show up with no appointment you will have to wait till I fit all that took the time to make appointments. It gets hectic!

Need Volunteers too!!!   If you would like to help with fittings or just learn more about uniforms. We need all the help we can get. its not Sewing. We have to enter the kids sizes into the computer and organize and Set up the uniform Racks. More hands make less work for one person. Just let me know what days you are willing to help and I would be grateful for the help and company.

DCI Prelims @ Opry Mills

The 2015 Drum Corps International World Championship Prelims are coming to more than 560 theaters nationwide for a very special one-night-event this Thursday, Aug. 6!

Join drum corps fans across the nation as they witness the top 15 corps battle it out larger-than-life on the big screen in the first of three days of intense competition.

It all kicks off on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. ET / 5:30 p.m. CT / 3:30 p.m. PT. Some movie theaters may sell out! Order your tickets in advance at FathomEvents.com.

Show shirts are on sale for parents and students. Students are allowed 1 short sleeve show shirt with their band camp fees, but if you’d like to order more – please fill out this form and turn in to the booster by August 6th.

BAND CAMP INFO

Band camp starts Sunday, July 26th. Registration starts at 1:00 p.m.for seniors, 1:30 p.m. for freshman, 2:00 p.m. for juniors, and 2:30 p.m. for sophomores. All forms that were in your packet need to be filled out and/or notarized if needed. There will be notaries available at registration. A parent/guardian must accompany each student to band camp registration. Registration will be in the hallway behind the band room. Please enter through the back door behind the band room. Please check with finance about band camp fees and/or student account fees during registration as well. All students will meet in the auditorium promptly at 3:00 p.m. for full band orientation. Bring powdered gatorade, styrofoam plates, 9 oz. cups, and a 24 pack(or larger) of bottled water.
