The Midstate audition registration form is now available on Charms under the 2015 Midstate Audition folder. Please fill out legibly and completely. Please note that some of the options have changed. Also please note that 11th and 12th graders should only sign up for the earliest time because of the Donelson Parade.

The Overton contest has been cancelled. We are loading busses and heading back to school now. We should return by 3:45 to unload the truck. Please plan to pick up your student at 4:15pm.

The McGavock HS Marching Band did a great job at Antioch Saturday. They persevered through the torrential downpour halfway through the performance. We requested that the band not be scored against the other band in our class due to the extenuating circumstance and lack of equitable comparison, and the Antioch Band Director agreed. Apparently, there was a miscommunication between him and the press box announcer and our score was announced inadvertently. Needless to say, the students and parents all pushed through and did a wonderful job and we are so proud!

This weeks Contest schedule has been posted in Charms. Please note that we are NOT attending the football game this week and that we will have rehearsal from 2:30 – 6:00PM on FRIDAY!
Tonight is our annual Alumni night!. All alumni of the McGavock Band, please come to march to the field and play in the stands with us. The step-off is at 6:20PM!
