Shoes, Gloves, & Compression Set Info

If your child plays a woodwind or brass instrument they will need… shoes, gloves, a compression shirt, and compression shorts. We order all of this so the band can look all the same.

The price break down is:

Shoes                     $30.00
Gloves                    $5.00
Compression Set   $25.00

If you do not need shoes, the total is $30.00
If you do not need gloves, the total is $55.00 (Battery & Front Ensemble do NOT need)
If you do not need shoes or gloves, the total is $25.00

Total for all three items is $60.00.

Money for shoes and gloves are due Friday September 4th.
Money for compression shirts and shorts is Friday September 18th

Monday should be turned in to Dusty Williams ONLY. DO NOT TURN IN TO THE BLACK BOX.

I am going to be posting two (2) mail wells, so pay close attention to the information

REMINDERS:

1)Do NOT bring more people than what you signed up for
2)Music is allowed, as long as you have headphones to wear
3)Small children are NOT allowed at this time (we are in working warehouses, and can’t have them running around)

Little Lambs Cookie Dough

 

Little Lambs Cookie Dough

The  Little Lambs cookie dough order forms are on the table with the trophies by the dry erase board.  The sale starts August 10th and runs through August 28th.  Profit is 50% and you receive one free box for every five you sell.  Checks are made payable to McGavock Band Boosters.  Each box contains 40 pre-portioned chunks of cookie dough.  There are also Cinnabon Gooey Bites and Auntie Anne’s Pretzels for sale on the order form.

This is a great way to make money for your Fair Share and FLORIDA!!

This weekend would be a great time to get out and practice your music and spinning AND SELL SOME COOKIES.

Mailwell Extended!!!

There is a MAILWELL opportunity for a Belmont recruiting packet.

This is a high quality project that involves packing a 9×12 envelope with matching names, addresses, seal, sort, rubberband and placing on pallets. Paying attention to detail is a must!

We will need 40 people (First come first serve). Students CANNOT miss rehearsal to go to a mailwell, but parents can work it.

Times:
Saturday August 1st 10am – 2am
Monday August 3rd 5:30pm – 9:30pm
Tuesday is a possibility once we know how the project is going.

Show Shirt Order Forms

Show shirts are on sale for parents and students. Students are allowed 1 short sleeve show shirt with their band camp fees, but if you’d like to order more – please fill out this form and turn in to the booster by August 6th.

BAND CAMP INFO

Band camp starts Sunday, July 26th. Registration starts at 1:00 p.m.for seniors, 1:30 p.m. for freshman, 2:00 p.m. for juniors, and 2:30 p.m. for sophomores. All forms that were in your packet need to be filled out and/or notarized if needed. There will be notaries available at registration. A parent/guardian must accompany each student to band camp registration. Registration will be in the hallway behind the band room. Please enter through the back door behind the band room. Please check with finance about band camp fees and/or student account fees during registration as well. All students will meet in the auditorium promptly at 3:00 p.m. for full band orientation. Bring powdered gatorade, styrofoam plates, 9 oz. cups, and a 24 pack(or larger) of bottled water.
