Shoes, Gloves, & Compression Set Info
If your child plays a woodwind or brass instrument they will need… shoes, gloves, a compression shirt, and compression shorts. We order all of this so the band can look all the same.
The price break down is:
Shoes $30.00
Gloves $5.00
Compression Set $25.00
If you do not need shoes, the total is $30.00
If you do not need gloves, the total is $55.00 (Battery & Front Ensemble do NOT need)
If you do not need shoes or gloves, the total is $25.00
Total for all three items is $60.00.
Money for shoes and gloves are due Friday September 4th.
Money for compression shirts and shorts is Friday September 18th
Monday should be turned in to Dusty Williams ONLY. DO NOT TURN IN TO THE BLACK BOX.

Orlando Deposit Deadline
ORLANDO TRIP DEPOSIT OF $100.00 IS DUE ON SEPTEMBER 4TH. Please do not turn this in to the school. This goes directly to Thomas Tours.

I am going to be posting two (2) mail wells, so pay close attention to the information
REMINDERS:
1)Do NOT bring more people than what you signed up for
2)Music is allowed, as long as you have headphones to wear
3)Small children are NOT allowed at this time (we are in working warehouses, and can’t have them running around)
I am needing 30 people for each day that we are working. We are working 5:30-9:30pm. You will need to respond to this e-mail with the information requested.

Orlando Trip Chaperone Info
All adults (non-students) attending the Spring Orlando trip must follow the process listed below. All adults must complete this process prior to September 15, 2015 in order to qualify for the spring trip.
*Chaperones (for overnight or out of state field trips)
Parent/Guardian Volunteer Chaperones wishing to attend overnight or out of state field trips must submit to a background check. The background check will be done through PENCIL (www.pencilfoundation.org). Chaperones must receive favorable results prior to departure.
*Please fill out the BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION FORM (link listed below), and fax to PENCIL FOUNDATION at 254-6748 or scan/email to info@pencilfd.org

The fingerprinting and background check may be done at 2601 Bransford Ave or through another agency that administers fingerprinting. The chaperone will pay the fingerprinting cost. Midstate Excerpts Posted
The 2015 All Mid-State Honor Band audition excerpts and scales have been posted in Charms under “2015 Midstate“. You MUST be logged in in order to see these files and print them out.
We encourage all students to audition. Remember to print out your excerpt, the chromatic scale, and your major scales.
